Chandler, Marilyn
Obituary
Marilyn Chandler was born in Chicago IL on Oct. 22, 1925, the fifth of six children of polish immigrants Matilda and Czeslaw (Chester) Waligorski. A child violin prodigy, she gave her first public performance at the age of 6 and continued until age 70. She played 1st violin with the Fort Worth Symphony and was Concert Master of the Ft Worth Opera Orchestra for many years. Her long hours of practice could make it difficult for her children to sleep in on weekends, but all would be forgiven if she promised to soon serve her incomparable pierogi. Marilyn married her greatest love, Stacy Chandler, in 1948 and together they raised five very lucky children. She reunited with her beloved Stacy on June 26, 2016, and she will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends

My sincerest condolences go out to her family,I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I had the privilege of being one of her caregivers at Joyce Hall and she was such a lovely lady, always dressed in her best, always had a big smile and sense of humor.
With sincere sympathy, Donna Cason
