Obituary
Betty Lou Rathheim, 82, of Dallas, Texas passed away on November 25, 216 at her home in Dallas. Betty was born on July 26, 1934 in Celeste, Texas to Orval and Maggie Martin. Betty was a member of the Church of the Holy Communion in Dallas where she was very active in several ministries and organizations. Her career was spent with Diversified Insurance Services from 1965-2005 where she was manager of the Commercial Insurance Department. Betty was very social and loved people and at various times over the years she was involved with Eastern Star, the Navy League, Red Hat Society, the Plano Senior Center, and of course her church. Betty was a kind, loving and generous lady who loved her family and her many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and three husbands, Jerry Bickham, Jack Townsend, and Tommy Rathheim. Betty leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Mark Bickham and his wife, Kendra; grandson, Jeremy Bickham and granddaughter, Melissa Bickham; her brother, Gene Martin and wife, Suzanne; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. A Celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Church of the Holy Communion located at 17405 Muirfield Drive, Dallas, Texas 75287. Interment and Graveside service will be held the same day at 3:00 P.M. at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, Texas.
