Obituary
Mary was born on April 21, 1936 in Northfield, Minnesota to Milford and Nora Jensen and passed away on February 18, 2017 in Plano, Texas at the age of 80. She grew up in Northfield, Minnesota with siblings Harold, Lois and Richard. She graduated from Northfield High School and the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She worked as an elementary school teacher for 30 years mostly in the state of Georgia. She was a loving mother of two and grandmother of seven. She loved puzzles and mysteries and word games and travelling with her family. She is preceded in death by her mother and father and her brother, Harold. She is survived by her children, Steve Horne and Julie Horne Fullington, sister Lois Everson and brother, Richard Jensen and extended family and dear friends. She will be remembered in a service on Sunday, February 26 at 5pm at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas and in a Celebration of Life Service this summer in Northfield, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in Mary’s name to the Project Hope Foundation in South Carolina which was especially important to Mary.
