I love you, Mom. The first thing I heard was your beating heart, & and the last thing I felt before you went to heaven was your final heartbeat. I will treasure every single beat of your heart until we meet again.

My fondest memories as a child was spent at the Pickrell home. I was always welcome and loved. I was eating some of the best authentic Mexican food. V. Pickrell was a second mom to me. She always had a lovely smile and said witty things. She had such an air about her. I remember the last time I knocked on the door, while visiting Irving....she was tickled and shocked. I will always cherish our memories. I love the Pickrell family. My heart and prayers are with each of you. Until we are all together again! Love and hugs!
