So sorry to learn about the loss of your Dear Loved One, Velia. Please know that so many people share your grief with you to help you through this difficult time of sorrow. (John 11:41-44)
My fondest memories as a child was spent at the Pickrell home. I was always welcome and loved. I was eating some of the best authentic Mexican food. V. Pickrell was a second mom to me. She always had a lovely smile and said witty things. She had such an air about her. I remember the last time I knocked on the door, while visiting Irving….she was tickled and shocked. I will always cherish our memories. I love the Pickrell family. My heart and prayers are with each of you. Until we are all together again! Love and hugs!
May Velia be in God’s arms surrounded by family and friends that have gone before her.

I love you, Mom. The first thing I heard was your beating heart, & and the last thing I felt before you went to heaven was your final heartbeat. I will treasure every single beat of your heart until we meet again.
