Francis Rosie Lee Gallagher Key, 74, of Lancaster, Texas passed away on March 29, 2017 at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas of natural causes. Francis was born on June 13, 1942 in Berkley, California to Lee Roy Gallagher and Inez Brown. On August 1, 1959 she married the love of her life, Gerald Wayne Key and was a devoted wife for 57 years. She was a mother of 5, grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 5. Francis was an avid antique collector and loved to travel. Francis is preceded by her daughter, Shelley Annette Key Ashcraft, sister, Barbara Alice Gallagher Mangham and brother, Tommy Gallagher. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Wayne Key of Lancaster, Texas; children, Jeanette Key Johnson, husband, Paul of Arlington, Texas, Renee Key Baughman, husband, Fred of Nevada, Texas, Kimberley Key, husband, Travis Wood of Henderson, Texas, and Douglas Key of Fate, Texas; grandchildren, Daniel and Michael Horn, Luke and Jake Johnson, Dakota Deshazer, Jesse Key, Gabriel Key, Isaiah Key and Tressie Key, Sharie Ashcraft Kirk, husband, Otis, and Davy Ashcraft, wife, Celeste, Hailey Key, Lauren Key, and Austin Key; great-grandchildren, Dalton and Laney Kirk, Cassidy, Carmindy, and Camilla Ashcraft.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
