Obituary
Bettye Ann Halstead Bartlett, age 90, died on Thursday, May 11, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. At the time of her death, she was at home, with family at her bedside. She was gathered into the arms of Jesus and many other family members and friends awaiting her arrival in heaven. Ann was beloved by all who knew her for her kindness, wisdom and generosity. Her talents were many, including gardening, photography, painting, piano/organ, and an intuitive communication style. She was the wife of an entertainer, Cub Scout Den Mother, kindergarten teacher, business woman, and Real Estate Broker. More than that, she was a cherished sister, inspirational mother, proud Grandmother and Great Grandmother and faithful friend. Her steadfast faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior was a shining example to her family and friends and ensured her everlasting life. She is survived by her brother, Clifford V. Halstead, sons Dan A. and C. Roger Bartlett, daughters Victoria L. Tyra, and Carol G. Ledford, 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, C Ray Bartlett, parents Clifford V and Maurine Halstead, sisters Dorothy J Burkett, N. Carolyn Benson, Rosemary Curry, and Grandson Christopher B Bartlett. Oh what a joyous celebration in Heaven when she arrived! She was adored by her remaining 8 Grandchildren, 4 Greatchildren and numerous others whom she considered family. A memorial celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 2 pm at The Heights Church, 201 W Renner Rd, Richardson, Texas 75081.
