Beth (and family), my deepest condolences, I only met Rock once but I could tell he was a good man, and a caring man. May this time be filled with blessings and good memories or good times.
Angel on earth now angel in heaven with so many precious moments. Always ready with helping hand and heart and touched many lives will miss him dearly. He was there thru my Charmin’ Charlie’s final days for me and also there for mom thru her illness as had illness of his own yet continued to do for others. I will always love him & good thing my sister met him first ♥️
Sorry for your loss Beth. My sympathy and prayers for you and your family. Phyllis Bent
Rock, I remember first meeting you how intimidated I was. I saw a rough, hardened man. Over time I learned the true you-loving, caring, willing to help anyone for nothing. I will never forget you and all you have done for family. I am a better person for knowing you and being around you. May your Rest In Peace sir.
Rock,
You are a huge part of my life. I fell in love with you from the monument I met you. You stepped into a father figure roll at a young age. Brought me to Dallas and got me a job at Central. Where everyone knew you as my Dad. I can only guess who started that rumor. Made me a better man and taught me I could be more then what others imagined me as. Showed me who I could become without defining myself by my past. You got me thru heart aches. You showed me what a real man is. So glad we got to say good bye. I will always cherish you. All I can say now is mmmmn mmmn mmmn mmmn. Lol thank you again. Until we meet at the grocery store in the sky. This time your looking for the tomatoes and I will take the call from the bar maid.
RIP Rock. Will never forget all the good times fishing, golfing and all the good times working snd playing at the Legion.
I want the world to know…. I had the best dad a man could ever have. Dad, was hero and the hero of others as a fireman rescuing people from fires and working on the ambulance as an EMT. Rock, my father raised me to be respectfull of others, especially my elders. I dreamed last night that Dad and I were throwing the football to each other like we did when I was a kid. I will miss talking to you for advice about this life but looking forward to being in your presence in heaven. Your son Johnny.
