It is with heavy heart I must say goodby to such a great friend. I will continue to look at every sunset to see you and Donna coming in on Pelican to join me at my anchorage, to share our potluck and to stay up playing Settlers. My condolanceses go out to Donna and your family as well as your extended boating family that loved you so much! I will miss you so much, my friend.
Words can never ever express the right thing to say when a loved one passes. However, my mother that passed years ago told me this: We are all placed on this earth by God to do a job and if you’re one of the lucky ones, you’ll get off work early. You’ll see Steve again. We all will. Love ❤️ you. XoXo

We are so sad to hear about Steve, there is a cloud over our hearts. We were so fortunate to not only find the boat meant for us but to also find some fabulous new friends that day we called the number on the flyer for Belles & Whistles. We will not be able to make it to Dallas for the celebration, but we will be raising a toast to Steve of rum and Dr. Pepper here in Florida. Our hearts go out to Donna and all of Steve’s family, both on and off the lake, he left us all with many wonderful memories.
We lift up the Romans, their extended family and friends in prayer and caring thought during this time of tragic and unexpected loss.
So sorry for your loss Donna but know that the memories of Stephen will always be tucked away right there in you heart close to you. We will have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
