Debbie was an excellent quilter but she was also so much more. She was known for her generous, loving nature. She was good to others and fun to be around. She constantly offered smiles, great food and useful suggestions to make the lives of others better and easier. And she somehow managed to maintain a positive attitude through the entire two years of her illness. Debbie gave me good examples of how I want to conduct the remainder of my own life and she will be missed more than words can say.
