San Andres, Eduardo C.

Eduardo Cornelio San Andres, of Plano, Texas, passed away on September 2, 2017 at the age of 81 years. He was born on February 3, 1936 in Quito Ecuador to the late Bolivar Barbaro San Andres and Maria Raquel Guerra. Eduardo grew up in Quito with his siblings; Raul, Celso, Yolanda, and Hector. He worked at the Metropolitan Travel Agency for 20 years before moving his family to Irvington, New Jersey in 1974 to begin a new life. Eduardo worked for Breeze Eastern as a machinest for 27 years before retirement. Eduardo was an avid soccer player his entire life and, in his younger years, was fortunate enough to play professionally. His passion and talent for the game made him a very competitive, disciplined, and dedicated individual in everything he accomplished. Eduardo also found joy in traveling with his family and visiting new places. He was a loving father, husband, and good friend. His outgoing personality made it easy for him to be the life of all the parties. Eduardo was always found with a smile and enjoyed making others laugh. He was a great dancer and, in his youth, he and his wife were competitive Tango dancers. Later he learned to cook and became passionate about preparing great meals for his family.

Eduardo Cornelio San Andres is survived by his wife, Cecilia Guillermina Tapia San Andres, son, Eduardo Xavier San Andres, daughter, Sandra San Andres, grandchildren; Christopher, Alexis, Stephany, Marilyn, and Darlene, brother, Hector, as well as extended family and dear friends.
