Obituary
Barbara Lynn Krajca, of Dallas, Texas, passed away September 3, 2017 at the age of 82. She was born to the late Horace & Gertrude Owens in Malakoff, Texas. Barbara was raised with her two sisters, Bobbie Davis and Alta Newson, in Dallas, Texas. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School. Barbara worked for Hallmark Cards for over 25 years and especially loved collecting Precious Moments and Hallmark Christmas Ornaments. She adored her family and will be remembered for her giving nature and kindness. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, half-sister, Edna Patrick, half-brother, Troy Patrick, and by her son, Joe Ray Krajca. She is survived by her husband, Frank Krajca, daughters, Kathy Conaway and Judy Lewis, grandchildren; Amanda Posey, Gary J. Lakey, Christina Conaway, and Sarah Conaway, her great grandchildren; Autumn Posey, Alex Posey, and Connor Lakey, as well as extended family and friends. A memorial service will take place at 10:00 AM on September 23, 2017 at Calvary Hill Chapel, Calvary Hill Cemetery 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation in Barbara’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association at ALZ.org.
The death of a mother is the first sorrow wept without her.
