Diaz, Jesus A.
Obituary
Jesus Alonso Diaz, 20, of Irving, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on November 2, 2017, as a result of injuries unrelated to his cancer. He was born January 9, 1997, in Houston, the son of Jesus A. Diaz. He attended John R. Good Elementary and Austin Middle schools and graduated from Singley Academy High School in 2015. He was currently enrolled at Northlake Community College. Jesus lived a miraculous life. Jesus battled a terminal brain tumor since 2007. After several surgeries, Jesus beat all odds. He lived life with a smile. You never saw him without it. Even through all of the pain and suffering, he was not one to complain. The proverb “It takes a village to raise a child”, was so true in Jesus’s life. The entire Irving ISD community rallied together to make sure all of their needs were met. Jesus was very loyal and loved his family and friends with all he had. Although we did not get the miracle we prayed for, we recognize that our sweet Jesus WAS the miracle. Jesus is survived by his father Jesus A. Diaz; his brother Efren and Casey, Nikki, Landin, Kennedy and Casen Blass. He is also survived by many friends and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A special thanks to Dr. Daniel Bowers, Dr. David Sacco, Dr. Alan Cooke Farrow-Gillespie and the amazing staff at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Aria Cremation Service & Funeral Home in Irving. The family will accept visitors on Monday, November 6 from 2-8. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial immediately following at Oak Grove Cemetery in Irving. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Irving Schools Foundation in Jesus’ memory. Please send the family condolences and sign the guestbook on this site.
