Dean Clinton, 58 of The Colony, Texas died Thursday December 21, 2017 of complications of Sinonasal Undifferentiated Carcinoma Stage IV Cancer, a very rare form. Dean was born December 6, 1959 at Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, Arizona to Bill J. Clinton (deceased) and Judy Clinton of Las Vegas, NV. Dean grew up and went to school in Las Vegas, Nevada graduating high school in 1978 in Napa, California. In high school Dean was on the schools swim team earning many medals. Dean also learned to water ski at an early age of 7. Dean loved camping, fishing, hiking and ridding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Dean was a Kansas City Chiefs and New York Giants football fan. Dean and his sister loved to western dance and became a member of the Las Vegas Wranglers Dance Team. Dean move to Dallas Texas the summer of 1998 to assist in caring for his father. Dean worked in the Oil and Gas industry. He joined AA and became an active member of Serenity Church and was a mentor to many fellow members in their recovery. Dean is survived by his mother, Judy Clinton, sister Dede Samson, brother-in-law Mike Samson, Niece Kayley Samson all from Las Vegas, Nevada. He is also survived by Sandy Hood, James Clinton, Don Schantz, Rick Schantz (uncles) and many cousins. Also survived by his stepmother Cheryl and step-sister Christy. Dean will be cremated and his ashes will be spread at Lake Mead in Las Vegas, Nevada in the spring of 2018. Anyone wishing to contribute to the American Cancer Society in Dean’s name would be appreciated by his family. A memorial gathering will be held at 7:00 P.M., Friday, January 26, 2018 at Serenity Church Worship Center located at 6600 Paige Rd, The Colony, Texas 75056.
