Karlinski, Anthony Leon-Thomas
Obituary
Anthony Leon-Thomas Karlinski passed away peacefully on January 30, 2018, while surrounded by family following complications related to a recently-diagnosed cancer. Anthony was born and raised in Philadelphia and moved to Texas during high school. He attended the University of Texas, where he earned a degree in civil engineering and met his future wife, Jessica Frank. Early in his career, Anthony earned his Professional Engineer license and completed an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. Anthony and Jessica married in 2000, settled in Plano and had two children, daughter Abby and son Jake. Anthony was a man of few words until you got him going on one of his favorite topics – engineering projects and sports, specifically his favorite teams the Philadelphia Eagles, Texas Longhorns, and most especially any team on which his children played. A dedicated husband and father, Anthony cared deeply about his family and treasured time with his children. He will be remembered fondly and greatly missed by the many people whose lives he touched. Anthony is survived by his wife Jessica, daughter Abby, son Jake, parents, Leon and Gail, siblings Howard, Emily (Ryan), Margie (Jared), grandmother Theresa Karlinski, aunts Sharon Domiano and Maryanne Mooney, and five nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Anthony’s life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Saint Barnabas Presbyterian Church, 1220 West Belt Line Road, Richardson, Texas. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of ARIA Cremation Service and Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road Dallas, Texas 75252 214-306-6700
