Kent, Collin Randall
Obituary
Collin Randall Kent, 22, of Perryton, Texas, was born on September 7, 1995. He passed away on February 12, 2018 as result of a tragic vehicle accident. Collin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jeanette Ann Davis, of Perryton, Texas. Collin is survived by his loving parents, Alicia Zabin and Vic Robertson of Dallas, Texas; his sister, Macy Zabin of Dallas, Texas; his grandparents Kim and Bart Zabin of Houston, Texas, Linda Caldwell of Davis, Oklahoma and Woody Robertson of Columbia Falls, Montana. He was also loved by his aunt and uncles Deanna and Jerry Padilla of Frisco, Texas and David Zabin of Dallas, Texas, and numerous caring cousins and friends. Collin graduated from Plano Senior High School in May of 2014. He was in a relationship with Sydney Belair since 2011. He attended Collin County College and planned on resuming his studies in the Computer Science field this upcoming fall season. Collin was a natural warrior where he attained a purple belt in mixed martial arts, was studying wing chun, and recently took up rock climbing. He was a self-taught piano player, legendary story teller, and it wasn’t out of the ordinary to have him pull pranks or find any reason to talk with an accent and convince others he was from another country. Through school Collin was a part of ROTC, participated on yearbook staff, and tutored kids because he loved giving back and making new friends. As a tribute to Collin for his love of art and music the family wishes Memorial Donations be made on his behalf to Art & Seek at www.artandseek.org. Collin was a light that shone brightly and he will be missed by everyone who had been blessed to know him. He was an energetic, loving, and caring young man we all were proud to call loving son, grandson, nephew, and most of all friend. Collins funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Preston Trail Community Church in Frisco, Texas. From Vic, his father – Collin saved my life when I was 27. He was such an integral part of my life, as he was all of you. Collin, your legacy will live on. I miss you padawan.
