Duke, David Stephen

David Stephen Duke was born on October 27th, 1944 in Columbus, Georgia to Glenn Alan Duke and Lula Armalie (Pacetty) Duke.  He passed away peacefully on March 22nd, 2018, surrounded by his loving children.

David served in the Army during the Vietnam War where he was honorably discharged in 1965.  He was known for his infectious humor, BIG heart, never meeting a stranger, and his love for all of God’s creations.  David lived a simple life, surrounding himself around the ocean and beaches where he loved fishing, crabbing, creative projects and working on boats, RV’s & most of all cars.  He wouldn’t have wanted to live anywhere else or any other way!

He is survived by his daughter, Shonda Wolfe and husband Roger; son, David Duke and wife Stephanie; daughter, Amy Berrios and husband Jim; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brothers, Bobby and Tim Duke; nephews, Steve and Mark Duke.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Enoch Duke; sister, Mary Patricia “Patsy” Duke.

Services will be held on Monday, April 9th, 2018, at St. Jude Catholic Church, Allen, Tx.,  75002.  Rosary @ 1:00pm; Memorial @ 2:00pm.

Forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
