Obituary
Lynda Elaine Barnett of Plano, TX left this world to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018. She was born December 23, 1960 to Don and Bonnie Barnett in Beaumont, TX, where she attended St Anthony’s Cathedral School, Monsignor Kelly High School, and graduated from Lamar University. Lynda managed Plano Used Office Furniture and touched all who knew her. Lynda was funny, with a quick wit, a bubbly personality, and never met a stranger. Lynda loved cooking, her dogs and most of all spending time at the beach with family and friends. She was loved by many and will be truly missed. Survivors include her constant loving companion of 25 years, Doug Lack, and his children, Erin Fuller and her husband Curt; Rian Lack and her partner, Marcus; her siblings, Don Barnett and his wife, Missy; Steve Barnett; Michael Barnett and his wife, Lisa; Laura Lee and her husband, Bob. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchild. Lynda is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Bonnie Barnett. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 am Friday June 29th at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church in the Shipp Chapel located at 9200 Inwood Rd, Dallas, TX 75220. Heavenly father have mercy on Lynda’s soul and welcome her into your place in Heavan that you have promised all your faithful.Lynda was a kind soul and a good friend since grade school. She was more like family than a friend. We had a lot of fun growing up. Her absence will be truly fealt by many. Time will heal the heart, but no amount of time will erase the fond memories. Rest in God’s peace sweet Lynda.

I knew Lynda in high school – she was such a good person, inside and out. Always happy, positive, optimistic and caring, she was a wonderful soul. I did not see her after HS but I miss her. I always thought she would stay in the world with us. I’m so sorry for your loss.
