Jack was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. To me he was a gracious father-in-law and he and Eileen welcomed me into their family and gave me the love of my life, their daughter Karen. They were both very faithful Catholics and provided for less fortunate with both their efforts and finances. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”- 2 Timothy 4:7. Rest In Peace Jack
I spotted Jack’s obit while browsing the internet today ((9/2/18). I am his first cousin, although I haven’t seen him since he moved to CA many years ago (his father Sam and my dad Charlie were close brothers). We were both brought up in Chicago; he was my closest cousin since he too went to college. I have fond memories of him still, and wish his family my deepest sympathies.
