Obituary
Sharon Ruth Easterday passed away on Monday August 6, 2018 in Arlington, TX after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was 75 years old. Sharon was born on May 20, 1943 in Bainbridge, Ohio to Clarence Fredrick and Effie Mae (Mitchell) Easterday. She had two sisters, Doraline Easterday Lee and Carol Easterday White and four brothers, Cecil Easterday, Marlon Easterday, Clarence Junior Easterday, and Robert Easterday. All of her siblings preceded her in death. Sharon graduated from Paint Valley High School in 1961 as Salutorian where she lettered in Track. Sharon graduated with honors from The University of North Texas in 1978. She was an accountant later branching out into Information Technology. She was a long time employee of the Zales Corporation. She coached Girls Softball in Irving, TX for many years. She loved dogs, cats and horses. She was a supporter of the ASPCA. Sharon’s long time and beloved partner, Patricia (Pat) Ann Murray, preceded her in death. She is survived by her nieces Karen Easterday, Carla Shipley, Irene Easterday, Marcia Elberfeld, Roberta Snyder, Connie Hammond, Margie Hubert, Leah Easterday, Linda Franklin, Carol Connor, Rhonda Kelly, Jamie Everett and nephews Mark Easterday, Thomas Easterday, Philip Easterday, Aaron Easterday, Matthew Easterday, Ron Ballard, Mike Templin, Gerald Templin, and Gary Templin. She is survived by numerous great nieces and great nephews. She made many friends through softball and horse shows. A memorial service will be held Sunday September 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Celebration Community Church on 908 Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Worth, TX 76104.
