Obituary
Born on February 20, 1929, to Harriet and Elvin Maxson, Fran Remington passed away on October 11, 2018 in Carrollton, Texas, at the age of 89 years. Fran grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, with siblings Betty, James, and Jack. She graduated from Pascal High School and Wheaton College, and worked for Texas Employment Commission as an Employment Counselor for over 25 years. After retirement she continued living in Farmers Branch and Carrollton, Texas. Fran was devoted to Christ and her children, Jeana, Jerry and Jim Remington. She was blessed to see her grandchildren, Josh Remington, Caleb Remington, Alyssa Zapata, Ashley Charles, as well as her great-grandchildren, Addison Charles, Harley Zapata, and Andy Charles. She was preceded in death by her siblings Betty, James and Jack and their spouses. Her parents, Harriet and Elvin will also be on hand in Heaven to greet her. Fran is survived by her daughter, sons, and daughters-in-law, Cindy Lu Remington and Laurie Coomer Remington, as well as her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service on October 18, 2018, at 11:00 am at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Rd., Fort Worth, Texas, 76134. A lunch for family and friends will be held at 1:30 pm at Grace Bible Church, 11306 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas, 75229, in the Small Chapel.
