I was one of the lucky people who had the opportunity to care for Bernice. She was incredibly special to all of us who were blessed with her friendship. There was something about her kind heart and ability to make you feel as if you’d known her for years! she loved her daughter Karen so much and was so proud of her. Bernice never complained even on her worst of days. I will miss her very much. Let us never forget her warm smile, love of a good laugh, and the way she always made us feel good, when she herself wasn’t well. Though we will miss her, we can take comfort knowing she is with her beautiful son, mother, Milton, and Sugar. Thoughts and prayers to all of you whose hearts were touched by this incredible woman. Special thanks to all the staff at the Gardens of Richardson for all the loving care they poured on Bernice. She loved you all very much! God Bless!
