Sara, our deepest condolences for your family’s loss of Sara Jane. Sid and Sarah Jane were so close. We will miss them. Mar & Dick Jordan, KA ’51
I have known Sara, who we called Sara Jane, since we were students at USM, in the early 50’s. What a great person then and even more so as a mature lady. How sad is her passing! My sincere sorrow and condolences to Sylvia, “Little” Syd, grandchildren and the rest of the family.
Our sympathy to the family in the loss of Sara Jane. She and Syd were very close firiends. I was in their wedding in 1953 in Brookhaven, MS. I have stayed in touch through these years.
We will miss Sara and her wonderful sense of humor. She was a great lady and will be missed by everyone’s life she touched. We all know Pop’s was waiting for her patiently at the Pearly Gates. The family is in our thoughts and prayers. Love…Debbie & Dannie.
Aunt Sara has always been my “other” mother whose voice always carried the gravitas and import of the original. As a young man, Sara gave me great advice which I always heeded She was a charming lady who affected my life in so many ways.
I’ll always remember, perhaps, her happiest years in Palos Verdes, playing tennis almost daily and enjoying the pacific sunsets. But maybe those were mine!
I wish that I had spent more time with Sara in the past few years. But isn’t that always the case when we miss someone we love so much?
