Obituary
Kempton Murph Rothpletz, “KMR”, 50 passed away after a brief but acute illness in ICU on September 1, 2014. Cherished son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Kempton lived his life with passion and excitement that so exemplified his spirit. He attended Trinity Christian Academy and Highland Park High School and Dallas Community Colleges. Kempton loved motorcycles and was a Harley Davidson mechanic. He was born on April 21, 1964. He is preceded in death by his sister Kim Rothpletz and his father Byron Rothpletz, Jr. He is survived by his mother Toni Murph Rothpletz; his siblings Jess Rothpletz, Kelli Rothpletz, Toni Rothpletz Yancer and her husband Phillip; their children Hayden, Hannah, and Hudson; niece Curry Castro, great niece Bella Rose Bagwell; her father Daniel Bagwell; Stepmother Barbara Rothpletz; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Bible Church at Inwood and Northhaven Roads. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Union Gospel Mission, www.ugmdallas.org

Sorry for your loss. Went to high school with Kempton. He lived in the back house of the house I live in now for a while.
A unique and larger than life force he will be missed.
