Much love to the Pierce families, Diana was such a sweet lady. Praying for all of you.
My heartfelt condolences! Your Mom was so precious and I so enjoyed serving with her at Tres Dias!
Diana and I worked together for many years and even became Flight Attendants for American Airlines later in life. She was hesitant to leave her desk job but told me a story of when she was a little girl, her father stopped on the side of the road to pick up a lady whose car had broken down. Diana thought she was so gorgeous, she was a Flight Attendant, gloves, hat and all. So she shared with me that it had always been a dream of hers to be a Flight Attendant because of this day. I encouraged her to follow her dream and she did. It wasn’t easy being assigned to New York but Diana was the best Flight Attendant I ever flew with. She was caring and loving and never a bad word for anyone. In fact, she tried (many times) her best to make me a better person by saying “Now, they aren’t bad people, that is just their personality.” (That makes me giggle to this day, how she tried) Though I’m sure they realize it, her boys and her family meant so very much to her, she spoke of them often, including her love of her mother and sister Toni. She even had a hope chest for years just wishing for Grandchildren I see that wish was fulfilled. Diana, you will be missed by all that were lucky enough to know you. Rest in Peace my dear girl for I know there is a place in Heaven that has been waiting just for you!
Diane was the first person that met on my weekend and she was a silent. I also felt so accepted and a person there my age. She was a role model for me watching her give her rollo. She was good and so accepting. I will miss her but I know I will see her again and get to met the love of her life.
I had the honor of introducing Diana when I went through NTTD #56. She was a beautiful woman with a loving spirit and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to get to know her. My sincerest condolences to the family.
Enough good things cannot be said about someone like this. Family, take heart: the life she invested in her family continues to live on in you.
