Wolan, Helen Szyper
Obituary
Helen Pearl Wolan, daughter of Stanley and Anna (Adamowski) Szyper, was born on December 20, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois. She passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015, in Plano, Texas. She was 94 years old. She grew up and lived most of her life in the Chicago area until she and her husband, John, moved to Phoenix, Arizona. She lived there for approximately 30 years until she moved to Frisco, Texas.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, John Stanley Wolan, and daughter, Kathleen M. Wolan.
She is survived by her son, John Wolan and his wife, JoAnn, of Show Low, Arizona; Chris Robin of Plano, Texas; and Dianne Savas and her husband, George, of Yukon, Oklahoma. She was blessed to have 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, February 23, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, Texas at 10 AM.
