Obituary
Jimmy Doyle died April 5, 2015 in Dallas, TX at age 70. Dunlap taught in the Plano ISD for 34 years and retired as the long time curator of the Plano ISD Living Materials Center. Served in the U.S. Army 1962-1965. Survived by son and daughter-in-law Scott “Sid” and Lisa Dunlap; daughter and son-in-law Erin and Mike Martinez; granddaughters Ella Grace and Sofia Rose Martinez; sister and brother-in-law Paula and Bob Mischel; niece Tracy Barr and great-nephew Daniel. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years Peggy Dunlap; father and mother Junior and Virginia Dunlap; brother John Walter Dunlap; sister Cheryl Barr; favorite snake Katy the Burmese Python. The family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to everyone who knew Jim and is supporting us though this time. A celebration of his life will take place Sunday, April 26th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Doyle Dean Performing Arts Center at Plano Senior High School. Tributes to Jim may be made to his favorite animal care centers – the Jim Dunlap Living Materials Center, Plano ISD, 2700 W. 15th St., Plano, Texas 75075, Attention L.
