Obituary
Born on October 30, 1923 in Hope, Arkansas and passed away on July 22, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a loving and fast friend. She was major force in the lives of many. She graduated from Highland Park High School and attended business school in Dallas. She married Frank Howson (also of Hope) in 1943 and devoted the following years to bringing up her family. She worked for 8 years as a secretary at El Centro College. Her volunteer work at the Church of the Incarnation won her many friends and admirers. Her work at the Thrift House and on the Altar Guild spanned decades. The Church of the Incarnation was always a mainstay in her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruffin and Dorothy Boyett, her husband Frank Howson, her beloved son Chris Howson and her second husband Robert Sippel. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Frank and Mireille Howson, grandchildren Cecilia, Benoit, and Raphael and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her devoted nephew and niece, David and Kathy Boyett, and their family. Her many surviving friends will also miss her deeply. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday August 4, 2015 at the Church of the Incarnation, 3966 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX 75204. Memorials may be made to the Dallas Arboretum, the Church of the Incarnation, cancer research, and research for Alzheimer’s Disease.
