Obituary
Glenda Floye Carter Hoelle passed away October 16, 2015. Glenda was born April 28, 1940 in Dallas and was a lifelong resident. She had a great love for her husband of 55 years, her children, grandchildren, and her church family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She retired after 25 years of service with DISD where she held several support positions at Marsh Middle School, W.T. White High School and, lastly, Gooch Elementary School. After retiring, she travelled extensively with her husband and church friends. She also served as a docent at the Farmers Branch Historical Park for many years. She is survived by her husband, Andy Hoelle, daughters, Jennifer Gibson (Todd) and Pamela Hodges (Walter), grandchildren Allyson, Dylan and Andrew; sister Lona Mae Hettich and brother Bob Carter. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Floye Carter, and sister, Anita Rogers. A celebration of her life and memories will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 12411 Templeton Trail, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Glenda’s name to The Friends of the Farmers Branch Historical Park; P.O. Box 819010, Farmers Branch, TX 75381.
