Brochetti, MaryAnn
Obituary
Mary Ann (Karalus) Brochetti, 79 of Plano, TX, formerly of Dunkirk, NY, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2015, at her home in the loving arms of her children after a brief courageous battle with cancer. Mary Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children Richard Jr. (Brenda), Susan (Robert) Kolodziej, Joanne Boyce all of Plano, TX, and Linda (John) Kirby of Frisco, TX, along with 6 adoring grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear friend, Charles Zeller of Plano, TX, and cousin, Daniel Purzycki (Dee) of Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband (Richard J.) of 51 years and her parents Harriet and Frank Karalus. Mary Ann was born February 11, 1936, in Dunkirk, NY. She graduated from Saint Mary’s Academy in 1954, and attended Fredonia State University. Mary Ann was employed by Niagara Mohawk until she started her family and became a full time wife and mother. Her community service included volunteering at her children’s schools and at her church. She later became a licensed real estate agent and sold residential homes. Mary Ann and her husband (Dick) owned and operated “Central TV” in Dunkirk, NY, for over 25 years until they moved to Plano, TX, in 1990. Shortly after arriving in Texas, they opened “Just VCR”. Family was most important to Mary Ann; she loved and adored her husband, children and grandchildren. She was kind and generous, a beautiful woman inside and out. Mary Ann never met a stranger. She was a caring and friendly woman with a great sense of humor. She loved to have fun and thoroughly enjoyed life, with a passion for traveling, playing cards, going to musical events and concerts, but most importantly, spending time with her family and friends. Mary Ann’s passion for life brought a lot of light to the many lives she touched. She will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 P.M., on December 19th, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Plano, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of ARIA Cremation Service and Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road Dallas, Texas 75252 214-306-6700
