Obituary
Randall W. Hulshouser, age 61, passed away on April 20, 2016 surrounded by his family at home in McKinney, Texas. Randy is survived by his wife Nancy, sons Christopher and Jonathan, daughter-in-law Sarah, father Wayne, brother James and his wife Karen, brother Dennis, mother-in-law Mildred Nichols, brother-in-law John and his wife Esther, sister-in-law Judy and her husband Jim, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Betty L. Hulshouser, Lena Bodkins, father-in-law John Nichols, and brother-in-law Steve Nichols.
Randy was born on June 17, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to parents Wayne and Betty Hulshouser. He graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Business Management. He worked in the energy industry for 35 years, most recently EnLink Midstream as a Director of Gas and Liquid Systems. Through his work he made many lifelong friends.
Randy was a devoted husband to Nancy. They were married for 35 years and had two children, Christopher and Jonathan. In 2002 they moved to their current residence in McKinney, where they built a home they so loved, filled with treasured memories.
Randy was a kind, generous, and loving husband, father, and friend. He found joy in fishing, gardening with Nancy, and above all, helping those he cared for. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A memorial is scheduled for Friday, April 29th at 2 PM at First United Methodist Church of McKinney with a reception to follow at the church. Dr. Don Renshaw will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Randy’s life. The family would like to thank their loved ones and friends for their support and care during Randy’s illness. Donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Alzheimer’s Association, or the First United Methodist Church of McKinney.
