Obituary
Brignon, Frazier Jules “Jay” born in Dallas March 6, 1944, to Clarence D. Brignon and Elise Elder Brignon Wilson, died of complications from a stroke on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his niece, Staci Kaye Bonner. Frazier spent his early years in Dallas. He attended Sunset High School and spent his college years at North Texas State University where he studied Business and was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He worked in real estate with his mother for many years. In 1973, he moved to California, settling in the San Francisco area town of Tiburon. After a brief move back to Texas, he returned to California and attended the John F. Kennedy University School of Law after which he founded Lone Star Legal Services, a highly successful business which was based in San Francisco. He retired in 2010, sold his business and moved to Costa Rica, later moving back to Dallas for health reasons. Frazier dedicated his life to fitness and nutrition and was an avid runner, running weekly 10K’s. Frazier was a long time member of the Tamalpais Running Club in Marin County and ran the famous Dipsea Trail race for many years. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Jan Bonner and son Brian of Dallas, Cindy Brignon of Dallas, Kim and Gary Sapp and their children Jason and Jamie of Mabank, Texas; Brothers Guy Brignon and his wife Peggy, and their children Kathryn and Elizabeth of Dallas; and, Sam and Luzana Brignon and their children Dylan, and Victoria of Fremont, California; as well as nine great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank UT Southwestern and his many caregivers.
A reception for family and friends will be held in Dallas, Sunday November 4, 2018 at the family home, from 3 to 5 pm.
