Doris and Marv enjoyed bridge, ballroom dancing and their much loved and cared for miniature poodles. Doris is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marvin Higley, and is survived by her brother in law, Richard Higley, nieces and nephews , great nieces and nephews both in Texas and Florida, family members in Massachusetts, a Godson in Illinois as well as loving friends from her 2 BY 2 Sunday School class, her faithful caregivers, the residents and staff of Monticello West and her wonderful doctors who treated her so caringly over the years.
