Ronald Raymond Accomando was born in NYC, NY to Basil and Irene Accomando on November 1, 1943. He passed away on December 31, 2015. The Accomando family moved to Dallas and Ron graduated from Bryan Adams (1962), from University of Dallas (B.S. Biology 1966), and University of Houston (M.S. Microbiology 1969). He worked in a variety of roles in medical technology before making his largest contributions working in Catholic education, teaching for Christ the King Catholic School in Dallas. He was the principal of St. Joseph Catholic School in Slaton, TX, and the inaugural principal of Thomas More Diocesan Catholic High School in Lubbock, TX. He returned to Dallas to serve as principal of Good Shepherd in Garland and St. Pius X in Dallas. Ron spent over 25 years working in Catholic education. He ended his career with a variety of executive positions in Human Resources. Ron was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Irene Accomando. He is survived by his wife, Adda Accomando, and brother, Michael Accomando, by sister-in-law; Annette Accomando. He is also survived by his son; Eddie Accomando, by daughters; Amy Watson and Irene Thrower, by son-in-law; Scott Thrower, and by four grandchildren; Daniel Watson, Mark Watson, Steven Thrower, and Thomas Thrower. A memorial Mass and Celebration of his Life will be held on January 18, 2016 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Dallas, TX at 11 a.m. with luncheon to follow.
