Also left are a multitude of nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends. Albert and Emma created a beautiful legacy. If you asked Albert what made him happy, he would tell you that he was happiest knowing that his children grew up into wonderful adults. He was proud of his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. His family was everything to him. Because of his strong sense of family, many of his children's friends looked to him as their other dad. He would do anything for anyone in need. He had a dry sense of humor, and he loved a good joke. Albert's favorite pastime was fishing - fresh water or salt water. He looked for any opportunity to put a hook in the water. On good days, he brought home a mess of fish. On bad days, he would say "That's why it's called fishing, not catching." Fishing usually led to a fish fry, where family and friends gathered for good food and fellowship. Please join us as we celebrate his life on Saturday, August 20th The celebration will begin at 2PM. Following the service, we invite you to enjoy light refreshments while we mingle and share your best "Albert" memory.
