Marilyn Anne Allen, 59, Fort Worth, passed away unexpectedly in her home at 9:35 p.m., Saturday, August 29, 2015. Marilyn was born March 1st, 1956, in Fort Worth, TX. She was a dedicated and loving mom, sister, friend and daughter to Bob and Rae. She loved George Strait, the Dallas Cowboys and most importantly her family. She will be remembered for her loyalty, strength in the face of adversity and her willingness to sacrifice for the greater good of her family. She is survived by "her steady man" Duane Tailford; daughter, Leslie Allen; two sons, Brian Allen and wife, Daniel Allen; sister, Barbara Bower and husband; two brothers, Dale Grimes, John Grimes and wife. She leaves behind 3 grandchildren Alexis and Ava Thomas, Brady Allen; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Dale Grimes Sr. and Rae Rankin Grimes. A quiet and simple family gathering will be held at her home in Hurst, TX.
