LaVerne Manning Andrews, aged 95, died Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at her care home in Carrollton, TX. She is survived by her children Allen Baggett, Sandra Sparks, and Sharon Baggett; her grandchildren Shane Sparks and Tonya Hubosky; great-grandchildren Aubrey Sparks, Ian Sparks, Brandon Hubosky and Michael Hubosky; and niece Penny Thiebaut. LaVerne was born in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, on May 7, 1925. While she lived most of her life in and around Garland, Texas, she did spend ten years in Dinuba, California with her mother, Elizabeth Manning. During her time in Dinuba she was surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins. LaVerne was a devoted church member and friend to many. She was known for her big personality, her hard-working nature, and her resilience through many life changes. She loved to share interesting stories from her life with her friends and family. LaVerne was a force to be reckoned with and she will be missed.
