Angela
Morrison
Apr 29, 1943 — Dec 1, 2024
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Angela Morrison. Our mother was 81 years young and incredible in every way. She passed away surrounded by love on December 1, 2024, in McKinney, TX. Although we will forever have a hole in our hearts, we are comforted by the thought of her being wrapped in the arms of Jesus. We are also comforted by the thought of her reuniting with her two sons that she loved and missed greatly.
Angela was born on April 29, 1943, in North Harrogate Yorkshire- England to George and Gloria Avard. Angela completed beauty school in Switzerland, and she began her career as a beautician in England. It did not take long for her to become well known for her magic touch. Her clients could always count on feeling confident with their styles and color when leaving her chair. Angela was a true artist. The thing she loved most about her work was the lifelong friendships she developed with her clients. Angela retired at the age of 75. She retired so she could help care for her son Stewart, and she wanted to have more time to help him with his non-profit organization, "The Dream2Walk Foundation." Her favorite things in life were her children, grandchildren, family, pets, friends, and playing a good game of darts.
Angela leaves behind a daughter Christina Raecher and her son in law Michael Raecher, stepdaughter Tanya Campbell and son in law Michael Campbell and stepdaughter Stephanie Holmes and son in law Jeff Holmes. She also leaves behind her granddaughters Tiffany Phillips, Samantha Covington, and Brylee Holmes along with her many grandsons John Phillips, Bryan Covington and wife Erica, Tyler Morrison, Rylie Campbell, Levi Campbell, and Dylan Campbell. Angela was also blessed to have two great grandsons Everett and Jaxton and one great granddaughter Madi Campbell.
She is preceded in death by her parents George and Gloria Avard, her two sons John Phillips and Stewart Morrison, and her brother John Avard.
