Ann Louise (Schnellbacher) Murphy (79) passed away on January 28, 2023, after a long battle with dementia. She was born in Quincy, IL, on January 27, 1944, to Edgar and Mildred Schnellbacher. After Ann graduated from Quincy High School, she went on to earn her Nursing degree at Blessing Hospital. She married Michael Murphy on September 26, 1964. She is survived by her spouse and three children, Michelle Murphy O'Neill, Steven Murphy, and Kathleen (Kat) Murphy. Ann had two grandchildren, Carson and Kayla O'Neill, a great-granddaughter, Olivia O'Neill, and a great-grandson, due in May. She also had one sister, Sandra Patton, and three nieces, Beth, Becky, and Barbara. The family will celebrate Ann's life in a private memorial to be held later.
