Obituary

Ana Aurora Garibi de Fajardo, 70, of Irving, Texas passed away January 23, 2024 with her family by her side after a sudden courageous battle with cancer. She was born to Jesus Garibi Velasco and Aurora Hernandez Gaona on July 17, 1953 in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. She married George Fajardo in 1982 and they lived together 12 years in California before relocating to Texas. Ana is survived by her husband, George, their two daughters, Nicole and Melissa, and their five grandchildren Arianna, Haleigh, Davian, Devyn and Kaiden. She is also survived by her remaining 9 brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Aurora, her brother Juan, and two sisters, Silvia and Guillermina. Ana spent her entire life working as an accountant as she was brilliant with numbers. Her co-workers all loved her no matter where she worked, she was always bringing joy as "Ana Banana." She had plans to retire before the new year and wanted to pursue gardening. She dreamed of having a greenhouse in the backyard where she could grow her own herbs and vegetables. When she wasn't working, you could find her at the casino, or as she liked to call it "cha chinging" with her best friend, Scott. Her sense of humor was undeniably the best thing about her. Her laughter was one of a kind and so infectious it could fill a room. If she was laughing, so were you. She will always be remembered as "La de los chistes" She touched many peoples lives and will remain in our hearts forever as "Ana Aurora", "Rorra", "Nanny" and "Fajita To view Anas Tribute Memorial Slideshow, click this link: https://www.tributeslides.com/tributes/show/BJX4R965BST4XQRM Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
