Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many, Anna Lombardi (DiGiorgi) passed away on December 14, 2022 to join her husband of over 50 years, Joe Lombardi, who preceded her death. Born January 22, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York, to Salvatore and Sylvia DiGiorgi, Anna was big sis to her two brothers Robert and Sal. On July 20, 1957, she married and the newlyweds made their first home on Long Island. In the following years they had daughter, Susan, and son, Joe. While in New York and Pennsylvania, Anna was a tremendous stay-at-home mom who encouraged independence and personal growth in a safe, loving environment. After moving to Dallas, she worked in Accounting and Human Resources for various companies. In retirement, Anna enjoyed golfing (served as President of the 9-holers club In Palm Aire, Sarasota) and quilting (joined the local sewing group). Many admired and acknowledged her quick wit, optimistic attitude (always greeted you with a smile), creativity in crafts and entertaining, friendly nature and love of family. Anna is survived by her daughter, Susan; son, Joe, and his wife, Kelly (daughter-in-law), along with their son, Nick (grandson). Brothers Robert and Sal, sister-in-law Lynn. As well as, extended family and cherished friends.
