Obituary

Annette Marie (St. Pierre) Bloomer went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday afternoon, September 15th, 2023, following a years-long battle with Alzheimer's. We are grateful she is now at peace and living her best life with Jesus along with other friends and family that passed before her. Annette was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by those who loved and knew her. Annette and her twin sister, Jeanette, were born on January 23, 1944, in Van Buren, Maine to Otis and Anna St. Pierre. Annette was the second youngest of nine children. She grew up in Limestone, Maine where she lived through her graduation from high school. She later met Ernie C. Bloomer, and they married on January 11, 1968. Ernie was in the Air Force, so they spent the next years serving his military assignments in Wichita Falls, Texas, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Ipswitch, England, and ultimately to San Antonio, Texas. Her work career centered around several retail-related jobs selling fine china, linens, shoes, clothes, and cosmetics. She was a very gentle, loving, attentive, mother and grandmother-as well as a "master shopper." She displayed a kind disposition and provided a Godly example as well as a listening ear. Outside of her family and career, Annette enjoyed being involved in her church. She loved to sing, attend Bible Study with her dear friend Jo Anne, and participate in her Sunday School class. Annette is survived by her daughter, Vicky (Scott) Manis; son, Ernie Bloomer; her grandchildren, Kayla (Ben) Newcome, Gregory (Mandie) Manis, and Tyson Manis; as well as her great grandchildren, William and Charlotte Newcome. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernie C. Bloomer. Additionally, she is survived by sisters Jeannette Weidner (her twin) and Margy Griffeth, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
