Gene was born on December 4, 1925 in Casseville, MO and passed away on December 11, 2014 in Dallas, TX.
He is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all.
He attended the Missouri School for the Deaf in Fulton, Missouri where he met his wife, Rosie. They relocated to Topeka, Kansas where Gene worked for the Topeka Capital Journal and retired after 39 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosie; three daughters, and their husbands; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
His love for laughter will continue on in our memories.
