Obituary

Vicki Lallier Axtell Vicki "Nana" was a sweet loving woman who dearly loved her husband Jim of 38 years as well as her 3 kids (daughter & 2 sons), her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, cousins, in-laws, out-laws and wonderful friends. She loved spending time with her family and time with her friends. Her other interests were her Christian faith, the fine arts, music, camping and traveling in the Rockies and playing cards. She was an accomplished pianist and soprano vocalist who was classically trained. She shared her gift with her children and as well her church and friends. Her love of the arts was passed down from her family. Besides her love of music, Father Victor was a portrait painter and Mother Margaret had an Art Restoration studio. Vicki spent time in the Art Restoration family business, along with her Sister Lollie during her years. As a patron, she once took her daughter Karen to the Ballet to see Mikhail Baryshnikov. After the performance, they were able to meet him and get his autograph backstage! After divorcing, she moved to Denver for a fresh start. She attended trade school, to learn drafting and while in school she met the eternal love of her live, Jim Axtell. After graduating, those 2 kind hearts became 1 when they got married and were together for 38 years before they both passed within a month of each other. They were inseparable! A memorial service was held Sat. Jan. 11th @ 10 AM at the Prairie Creek Baptist Church, 3201 W. 15th St. Plano, TX 75075. Vicki will be interned, alongside her husband Jim Axtell/USN, at Ft.
