On Sunday, October 10th, 2021, Dale Francis Baldelli was surrounded by love as he went to his heavenly home. Dale was born in Danbury, Connecticut in 1954 and moved to Dallas with his family in 1959. The Baldellis made Northwood Hills their home and became part of a larger neighborhood family, forging friendships that have lasted a lifetime. Dale was full of joy and experienced life fully on his own terms. His smile and charisma were radiant, and with a passionate and charming personality he influenced many lives. He loved snow-skiing more than any other activity and this passion led him to attend the University of Denver. When asked about his profession, Dale said he was in the "toy business." He loved exotic cars and made them his career for over half of his life. His time in the luxury car industry yielded many relationships and entertaining stories……… of which few actually involved the cars. He eventually took his love for impeccable design and high-performance to managing the construction of luxury homes in Preston Hollow. In Dales 16-month battle with pancreatic cancer, two things were consistent: his indomitable spirit and attitude. Dale shined at making the best of every situation and was always a champion and hero to his family and friends that witnessed his journey. Along with his loving wife of 31 years, Karla Baldelli, and their sons, Rafe and Roman Baldelli, the family focus of late was having as many "good days" as possible. Of all Dales accomplishments, his family was his greatest achievement, and to know him was to know his family. Dale was a follower of Jesus Christ and long-standing member of Prestonwood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by; his parents Richard Vose Baldelli and Elizabeth Streeter Baldelli, and his brother Richard Bard Baldelli. His story is lived on by; his wife Karla Glover Baldelli, sons Roman and Rafe Baldelli, brother Gregory Baldellli (Northport, FL) , sisters-in-law Linda Baldelli, Jaquelyn Baldelli and Jill VanEgmond (Randy VanEgmond), nephews Ryan Baldellli (Emma Baldelli), Bryce Lucien, nieces Bailey Lucien, Alaina Lucien, grandniece Isabella Baldelli and cousins that he loved dearly. A memorial service will be held in Faith Chapel at Prestonwood Baptist Church-Plano Campus, 6801 W. Park Blvd., on Thursday Oct. 14th at 3:30pm, immediately followed by a celebration at the Baldelli home. An educational fund has been established for Dale's sons at Happy State Bank and Trust in Addison (The Baldelli Children Fund). Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
