Obituary

Cherryl Ann Ball was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts on October 9th, 1956. She passed away at the age of 60, peacefully in her sleep at home in Frisco, Texas on Friday, September 15th, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents Wilbur Fiske Ball and Dorothy Graham Caserta, and also her step father Jerry Caserta. She is survived by her beloved husband Kirk Robert Wallbillich and by her children Graham Thomas Ball, Elizabeth Anne Wallbillich, her grandson Cameron Graham Ball, her siblings Susan Lynne Ball Lucas, Thomas William Ball, David Michael Ball, her nieces and nephews Lisa Jasper, Rachel Ball, and Joshua Lucas. Cherryl will be deeply missed by numerous extended family members and friends. Her father Wil was in the United States Coast Guard and her family had lived in many places including Haverhill, MA, New Bedford, MA, Hialeah, FL, Hollywood, FL, Glen Burnie, MD, Haverhill, MA and Algiers, LA, before moving to Gretna, LA where the family remained for several years. Cherryl graduated from L.W. Higgins High School in Marrero, LA in 1975. In 1992 she worked for Ochsner Health Plan where she met Kirk Wallbillich and they were married in Gretna, Louisiana in 1994. They moved to Dallas, TX where Cherryl worked for Mobil from 1993 until the early 2000s. Cherryl is remembered by her friends and family as being fun to be around, independent, generous, and having a great sense of humor. She knew how to light up a room and always have a good time no matter where she was at. She was very passionate about the things that mattered most to her, was kind to everyone she met, and loved her family fiercely. She enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking and crafting, genealogy, watching her favorite tv shows, cooking family recipes with her children, and spending time with her grandson. Cherryl's viewing and visitation will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Aria Funeral Home, 19310 Preston Road Dallas, Texas 75252 followed by the funeral at 7:00 P.M.
