W.A. Barry, Jr, died Friday July 17, 2020 at age 98 from Covid 19 complications. He was born in Dallas on June 24, 1922. He was a Marine Corp Captain and fighter pilot that served in the Korean War. Although they were not in the same squadron, he served with John Glenn and Ted Williams creating memories that he always cherished. A big baseball fan, Ted Williams was often brought up in conversation. He was preceded in death by his father W. A. Barry, Sr; mother, Mary Ellen Barry; brother, John Barry, and sister, Marie Adams. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved daughters, Betty Moore and Karen Miller; sisters, Lee Kelley and Nita Herrell; three granddaughters, Marcie Rumph, Molly Miller, and Melanie Miller; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be held at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
