Vickie Lea Bayless, born July 15, 1953 in Guymon, Oklahoma to Bob and Betty Bayless, passed away June 12, 2020 in Dallas following a lengthy illness. An Amarillo native for 50 years, she retired and moved to Dallas to live with her Sister and be near to her family. Vickie spent 25 years working as a Corrections Officer on the County and State level. She had a deep love for her family and was known and loved for her sense of humor and wit. Dearly loved by her family and friends, she will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Shelley Flynn of Dallas; brother, Michael Bayless and wife Micha of Garland; stepmother, Jessica Bayless of Ada, Oklahoma; nieces, Lindsey and husband Cary Redwine of Arlington and Shawna and husband Jacob Lee of Moore, OK; nephews, Brice Bayless and wife Amber and Chase Bayless; numerous great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
