Juan D. Bazn (Tata) of Alice, TX passed away, Tuesday Aug. 28, 2018 at 80 years of age in McKinney, TX after a sudden illness. Juan D. Bazn was born to Juan and Francisca Bazn from Benavides, TX. Mr. Bazan is survived by his daughters Blanca (Noe) Munoz, Fort Worth, TX, Araceli "Sally" (Ruben) Longoria, Corpus Christi, TX, Maria del Socorro (Samuel) Cavazos, Alice, TX, Yolanda Rivera, Corpus Christi, TX, 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandkids. Juan was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, served as a Eucharistic & Prison Minister, cursillitas, and mutalista partaking in Rosary groups. Juan also proudly served his country in the Armed forces. He loved carpentry work, relaxing outside, and enjoying his grandchildren. He was a big character with his huge smile, witty nature, great storyteller, very knowledgeable of our families history, and his selflessness. Juan D. Bazn (Tata) will be laid to rest at the New Collins Cemetery at a Private Gravesite service announcing the date at a later time.
