Ronald Beck of Irving, TX passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2014, after a long illness. Ron is preceded in death by his beloved son Keith Allen Beck; parents, Nadine Herring & Raymond Atlas Beck, Sr.; half brothers, Raymond Beck, Jr. and Dale Beck. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Julie Ann Beck. Ron was born and raised in Gatesville, TX. He served his country in the US Navy in the Viet Nam War. During his working career he was a machinist, tool and die maker. Among his many hobbies were gun and knife collecting, hunting and avid reading on a wide range of topics. He gave his friendship to few but those who had it found a loyal, kind, and generous person who honestly cared and cherished those relationships. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Rest in peace, kind sir. You are loved and deeply missed.
